Our In-Home Boarding SEtup

At KBK Training, your dog stays in a temperature-controlled, video-monitored space within the trainer’s garage. Designed with their comfort and safety in mind, this secure environment ensures your dog feels calm and relaxed throughout their stay.

Clean & Cozy

Dog areas are cleaned, and crates are inspected daily. Weekly and monthly tasks involve deep cleaning, organizing, and ensuring supplies are stocked for a safe, clean environment.

Amenities

Our in-home boarding offers a range of amenities including a fully fenced backyard for supervised play, comfortable bedding, toys, bowls, and a dog treadmill for those wanting their dog to learn to run during their stay.

Dogs are crated when not under supervision, ensuring their safety and comfort. Our temperature-controlled garage is monitored by video surveillance, and all dogs are crated indoors at night for a restful, secure sleep.

Is there a minimum night stay?

New clients must book a minimum of 2 weeks. Any recurring clients, the miniumum is 1 week.

How do I get updates on my dog?

Clients receive text and video updates every Monday and Thursday, with additional updates as needed. Videos are shared via direct message through our company Instagram.

Where will my dog be sleeping?

Dogs are always crated inside our temperature controlled garage at night to ensure they are safe and secure.

What should I bring?

Please send your dog’s food, either labeled or pre-measured by meal, and have them wearing a collar with ID. We provide bowls, crates, bedding, toys, and leashes to guarantee your dog’s comfort. You’re also welcome to send their favorite treats and bedding.

What if my dog is not crate trained?

If your dog is not crate trained, we may request you choose behavioral boarding instead of obedience boarding. Please reach out to us at (801) 477-6611

Is there training after the boarding?

We offer a complementary one-hour follow-up session for each week your dog stays with us. Additional training can be purchased as needed.

What's the minimum days requirement for obedience boarding?

We require a two-week minimum for our obedience boarding program.

When is payment due?

We require a 20% non-refundable deposit in order to book your time-slot. The final  payment is due 2 weeks before drop-off. We will send you payment link for the final payment.

Do you offer guarantees?

While we provide quality training that sets your dog up for success, the long-term outcome depends heavily on the consistency and effort you put into maintaining their training at home. To help you continue reinforcing what your dog has learned, we offer support through follow-up sessions.

What if I have additional questions before or during the training?

While we love being outside with your dog, our staff prioritizes prompt communication through text, phone and video calls. Please reach out to our team!
