Class Descriptions
Green Class – Foundational Obedience & Socialization
- Where 90% of our clients start.
- For dogs six months and older who are social.
- All work is done on leash.
What the Class Covers:
- Sit, down, stay, heel, recall.
- Building reliability and impulse control.
- Responding to commands the first time they are given.
Goal: Establish strong basics, focus, and handler communication in a structured
Blue Class – Off-Leash Transition & Real-Life Reliability
- Designed for dogs ready to advance from Green level.
What the Class Covers:
- Off-leash transition skills.
Reliability around distractions. - Faster response times and improved focus.
- Eye contact and handler engagement.
- Real-life scenario practice, such as:
- Meeting new dogs and people.
- Encountering distractions on trails.
- Includes correction techniques when a dog doesn’t respond the first time.
Goal: Raise expectations and refine your dog’s skill set for off-leash freedom with control.

I’m so grateful for the boarding that KBK Training provided for my Great Pyrenees recently. Kenna is so gifted with dogs. KBK Training has helped us train our very large and difficult to walk Husky/Doberman Pincher/Australian Shepherd mix. We get compliments often now how well behaved he is. We recently boarded him for two weeks with Kenna to fine tune some ongoing behavioral issues. Kenna and her trainers worked wonders. She sent us video updates of our dog in training almost every day while he was gone. He got to play with so many other dogs, hike in the mountains, and run on trails. We loved seeing what he was doing. He was having so much fun and learning how to be social with other dogs and people. I now feel so confident that I will for sure board him there again. Kenna has truly been a godsend when it comes to both training and boarding. We have a very large dog, which in itself makes it hard to find someone to watch him, but he’s also inconsistently reactive, making it next to impossible. We know that, not only will he receive great care with Kenna, but that she and her team will work with him. And he always comes back a better boy. She’s a great communicator, keeping us updated when we’re gone with updates and pictures. I’d recommend KBK Training 1,000 times over.
